Vineyard Vigor Scale™ (V VS™) Images are NDVI images that have been further normalized to provide a more useful scaling. The 10-class scale permits comparisons between previously or separately collected image data of the same varietal type.
This allows farmers and vineyard managers to quickly and easily make year-to-year comparisons of the same blocks. They can also use V VS™ to compare similar blocks from different geographic locations. More complex models are also possible.
